Preliminary Breath Test

The Oakland University Police Department provides preliminary breath testing (PBT) services 24 hours a day to individuals with a valid court order for testing.  Anyone requesting a PBT must provide a state or government issued identificaiton card and their PBT log issued by a court or probation department.

Each PBT is $5.00.  Only exact cash amounts will be accepted. 

Please Note:  Preliminary breath tests are a low priority police call.  Please allow yourself sufficient time in case an officer is not immediately available when you arrive at the police department.
