Police Station Tours

The OUPD welcomes community and student organizations for tours of the police station.  Presentations are age appropriate and fun, yet deliver serious messages about personal safety, stranger danger, substance abuse and many other topics.

Tour groups will learn about the equipment police officers use and the responibilities of the police department.  All areas of the station, as well as patrol vehicles, will be included in the tour and photos will be allowed in designated areas.  Tours last approximately one hour.

Tours must be scheduled at least 14 days in advance to ensure sufficient personnel are available.  For safety reasons, we ask that tour groups are no larger than 20 people and that enough adults are present to supervise children.

To schedule a tour, please submit a request online and a Police Officer will contact you to finalize the details.
